Governance

The Fire Sector Confederation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).

As a CIO, our Objective is the preservation of health and the saving of lives through engaging with organisations and individuals who seek to achieve a UK society that is safe and sustainable from fire by participating, sharing, coordinating and facilitating collaboration, learning and actions that impact upon fire safety across the built environment. Alongside this, we promote relevant technical and professional standards through the development, dissemination and application oof guidance, regulations and codes of practice within the fire safety and allied sectors.

The Confederation is managed by a Board of Trustees which meets regularly, and reports to members through regular forum meetings.
